Mr. Ramakrishna Dileep Kotagiri

Mr. Ramakrishna Dileep Kotagiri is an experienced instructor, academic advisor, and technology professional with a strong background in Computer Science. Over the past several years, he has worked closely with student communities, providing exceptional academic guidance, mentorship, and student development support. With more than seven years of teaching experience at Alcorn State University, he has successfully taught courses in Python Programming, Networking, Operating Systems, and Computer Architecture.

Mr. Kotagiri is recognized for developing engaging course materials and delivering effective instruction across traditional, online, and hybrid learning environments. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has served as an academic advisor, mentoring freshman and sophomore students to enhance academic performance, improve retention, and support successful graduation outcomes. He has also contributed to student recruitment initiatives and departmental curriculum development and planning. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering at Jackson State University. He holds master’s degrees in Computer Science and Information Science from Alcorn State University, as well as a master’s degree in Information Systems from University of New England. His professional expertise includes Python programming, networking, software testing, and academic leadership, further strengthened by industry certifications from IBM.
